• MSS40316 Certificate IV in Competitive Systems and Practices

Who can / should attend the workshop? 

The training courses are developed for anyone who would like to know how to implement Competitive Systems and Practicies – it can be anyone from the Senior / Middle Management team, Production team and / or Administration team.  

The program can be adapted to any type of business so no specific education qualifications or industry knowledge is required.

Delivery, Assessment Methods and Duration

Blended delivery methods are employed including workplace delivery and face to face training. This   will take place at the workplace and during work hours. Assessment tasks typically include on-the-job observation and questioning, in-class activities and workplace based projects.

This program is typically delivered over a 10-14 month period.

Certificate 3 Guarantee Program and Higher Level Skills Program

As a pre-qualified supplier PL LEAN Training Pty Ltd is able to offer subsidised training funding to students who reside in Queensland.  

A compulsory co-contribution fee per units has to be charged. This is often paid by the employer.

The co-contribution amounts that have to be paid for the Competitive Systems and Practices programs under the Queensland Government Certificate 3 Guarantee Program and Higher Level Skills Program funding schemes, are $ 5.00 for non-concessional and $2.50 for concessional. This is unless the student meets the specified exception and or exemptions.

If you are eligible for the funding these co-contribution fees represent the entire amount that has to be paid by you.

There are rules and expectations for students accessing government subsidised training places, including the fact that the student will no longer be eligible for a government subsidised training place, once they complete the qualification level targeted through the program. 

Students must also complete a student employment survey within three months of completing or discontinuing the qualification.
